"Sacro Cuore" Church

The church stands on a place very important for the topographic evolution of Ciampino, i.e. on the main square, in the heart of the downtown. The first part of the structure to be built was the boarding-school, ended in 1924, and destined both for spiritual formation of the Ancelle del Sacro Cuore and to host pupils.

During the Second World War, the bombardments heavy damaged the structure.
