Severa della Marcandreola's Homestead
In this place Cola di Rienzo and his troops rested before assaulting Marino. The present structure was built in the 17th century, it belonged initially to the Capranica, then to the Albertini, and finally to the Colonna. This family built the wonderful portal still visible along via dei laghi.

In 1680 the Colonna sold their homestead to Carlo Severa, who had his name carved on the portal.
