| Description |
This company founded in 1650 is located on the first slopes of the Castelli Romani dominating Rome. Its nickname “Bonasera” probably refers to the kind behaviour utilized to greet customers when it was too late in the evening.
During the last 10 years, in the 20 hectares of land cultivated with the typical vines of the Frascati doc, Malvasia di Candia and Trebbiano Toscano, more importance has been given to the kinds Malvasia del Lazio and Bellone, which had been neglected to exploit more productive ones. The use of chemicals is very limited and this company plans to transform its activity in an organic cultivation. During the different seasons it is possible to visit this company and to see the different types of works, very interesting during the vintage, and to study the local folklore.
During the last years part of the buildings of this company have been dedicated to the free tasting, that during spring and summer can be made at open-air. The tasting is explained by an expert. By reservation it is possible to organize dinners and evening meals, in the wonderful structure built in the 18th century with musical accompaniment and local or lyric songs.
