| Description |
The consortim of producers “La Selva” was founded in 1977 and nowadays it has 350 members producing about 60.000 hundred kilos of grapes coming from vineyards located in Genzano di Roma, Lanuvio and from the nearby towns.
The consortium guides its members during the different stages of the production giving suggestions and advises on the harvest and on the selection of grapes.
The grapes just after reaching the consortium are vinified with the most modern technologies, respecting the Castelli Romani's tradition. They are pressed softly, the must is cleaned, and the fermentation takes place with the aid of cold temperatures. The wines’ preservation is constantly monitored and this is true also for bottling, granting in this way a constant quality, genuineness and conformity to the guidelines for the DOC production.
